A pleasant sailing along the islands of the Central Dalmatia and the Pelješac penisula bring us to the town of Korčula. on the island of the same name.

According to a legend, the town was founded by the Trojan hero Antenor, even though probably the most popular citizen was the sailor and adventurer Marko Polo, who is supposed to have been born exactly here – in Korčula. Through history, the city has defended the passage between the island and the peninsula Pelješac, and huge fortresses and towers testify this.

After the sightseeing of the Old Town, we continue our journey to the island Mljet. The fact that the larger part of the island has been declared Natural Preserve, is evidence enough of its beauty. There are two salt lakes in the Natural Preserve – the Big and the Small one, with a small island, on which a Benedictine Monastery of the 12th century is located.
The return to the port of Makarska is planned in the late afternoon hours.
